Lancashire Police have a range of volunteering opportunities to suit different people and ages, whether as a Volunteer Police Cadet, Police Support Volunteer or as a Special Constable. The Volunteer Police Cadet schemes run across the county, open to young people aged 13 to 18. The cadets get involved in lots of different activities to develop their skills and help their local community.
As a Police Support Volunteer you will have the chance to experience what goes on behind the scenes, supporting officers on the front line. From helping with research projects to getting involved with Community RoadWatch schemes. Or you might want to become a Special Constable where you will be given extensive training and will work alongside officers to help keep communities safe.
Volunteer Police Cadet vacancies are usually advertised in the Summer and our Special Constable intakes are spread across the year.
