Who is Lancashire Volunteer Partnership?

Lancashire Volunteer Partnership (LVP) was established in 2016 between public services who wanted to provide one gateway into public service volunteering.

In partnership with Lancashire Constabulary, LVP offer a range of volunteering opportunities to suit different people and interests. From Administration and Support volunteers, to Cadet Leaders, Special Constables, Restorative Justice, or one of the many other volunteer roles available.

Many volunteer roles are tailored to suit your departments needs and therefore they can be highly varied. This helps to ensure that your volunteer is the right fit for
your team and that they have the right skills to support your departmental needs. Some of our volunteers have ongoing administration duties, while others may support your team through community engagement initiatives or by attending local events.

Whether you think that a volunteer could help your team in one of these areas or perhaps with something different, you can get in touch with us to discuss your options further and to find out more.

What are the benefits of having a volunteer?

Whether you want to utilise new skills and ideas, boost efficiency, or increase capacity; our volunteers can help to support your department or team, dependent on your specific needs. Some of the benefits of getting a volunteer to support your team or department include:

  • Bringing in new skills, ideas and perspectives
  • Supporting service delivery and extend service offering
  • Supporting employee well-being by boosting efficiency and streamlining operations
  • Enhancing community relations through the integration of external volunteers
  • Reducing demand on Police services and helping to build safer communities across Lancashire

Looking for something different?

LVP already offers a selection of popular volunteer roles within Lancashire Constabulary that may be suitable for your team. However, did you know that we will work with you to create a new bespoke role if you require a different kind of volunteer support?

So if you think your team could benefit from a volunteer, but you are not sure where to start, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our team of experienced Volunteer Officers are here to support you and to help advise and guide you throughout the process.
