East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT)
East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust was established in 2003 and joined as an LVP partner in 2017. We work closely with them as a large integrated health care organisation providing healthcare for the people of East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen.
Their healthcare services are offered across five hospital sites and various community sites including;
- Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital
- Burnley General Teaching Hospital
- Clitheroe Community Hospital
- Pendle Community Hospital
They employ around 8,000 staff and work closely with the adult community services, to ensure that all patients have a high-quality service whether they are in hospital, in the community or their own home support with LVP volunteers.
