Lancaster and Morecambe Domiciliary Service – Activity Support Volunteers

Overview of the Domiciliary Service

Supporting you at home (Domiciliary Services)

Our Domiciliary Service is provided by our Adult Disability Service, Adult Social Care and is organised on the model of supported living. People they support become a tenant of their own property and share accommodation with other people who receive support from the Service.

The Service arranges support for them according to their needs and available funding, with the aim being to promote independent living skills.

There are 9 Schemes across Lancashire, supporting around 271 adults with learning disabilities in 100 tenancies, mostly 24hrs/7days per week supported by approximately 780 staff.

Do you have a few hours to spare each week, and do you enjoy sharing activities with others?
