Our volunteer Befrienders are matched by our Volunteer Officers to a client with similar interests. If you are interested in volunteering and would like to support someone in your local area get in contact! Our Befrienders are involved in activities to increases independence, it may be initially meeting up for a drink and a chat then venturing outdoors to a local cafe, the cinema or a dance class! Meet Melanie and Santa

Santa joined us as a volunteer Befriender in March 2019 and was matched by one of our local Volunteer Officers to befriend Melanie. With a weekly visit Santa has transformed Melanie’s week, given her something to look forward to, friendship and plenty of laughs!
