Culture Hack 11 – 17 years Burnley Library

Would you like to join the volunteers in Burnley Library?

We are currently seeking a coding culture hack to help run our gaming and coding club on Monday’s evenings 5-6. We’d like some with a keen interest and knowledge of tech, that could help younger people find their passion too.

We are also seeking a volunteer who will support staff during events and create engaging displays for our borrowers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is creative and who wishes to work with families and children in this community. This is for Monday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings and also for Saturday mornings

Before applying – you will require a reference from a teacher who has known you for at least one full term. If you are unable to speak to your teacher (during school holidays) we will accept another recognised adult in a similar role i.e. youth groups, Scouts, Brownies etc. Please talk to a member of Burnley Library staff before applying for further guidance.
