We Currently have three volunteering opportunities at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust available for you to apply for.
The roles we currently have available are at Royal Blackburn Hospital:
- Health Mentor Volunteer – supporting the well-being team by providing information around healthy lifestyles to patients and visitors on wards, outpatient services, and clinics
- Therapeutic Activities Volunteer – supporting our dementia nurses by engaging patients through meaningful activities to reduce isolation and improve motivation and well-being
- Chaplaincy Volunteers – supporting patients by befriending and supporting with spiritual, pastoral and religious care
These exciting roles will support this busy NHS service to provide safe, personal and effective care, and improve our patient’s experience.
