We are currently seeking volunteers to help Lancashire constabulary and its partner agencies protect people and children from the threat of exploitation.

As an exploitation prevent volunteer your role will be to deliver awareness raising content to children and other vulnerable people across the whole of Lancashire. This may be in the form of presentations to schools or community groups, and by assisting the police and agencies such as children’s social care in prevention operations such as helping staff awareness raising stalls in town centres or other exploitation hot spot areas. The role is extremely rewarding and provides an opportunity to make a difference in your local community.

Volunteers would be expected to work pro-actively in a geographic area of their choosing and conduct prevention activity for a minimum of 8  hours per month.

To prepare you for this role you will be provided with training from experts in areas of child exploitation, human trafficking and modern slavery, along with being given access to a range of preventative material to help you including presentations, leaflets and posters.
