LVP have joined forces to offer support into employment through volunteering

If you are struggling to get into employment then volunteering could be a good way of increasing your confidence and skills so that you are ready for the job market.

If you are looking for support and even being able to volunteer seems a mountain to climb then LVP might be able to help. We have teamed up with the;

Strengthening Communities – Volunteering in Lancashire (Improving Health and wellbeing and a passport to employment) Programme.

The Programme aims to boost volunteering across Lancashire engaging the most disadvantaged people who are isolated from the labour market. It provides realistic pathways into employment through mentoring, accredited training and access to volunteer placements.

If you fall into the following groups they may be able to support you into employment through volunteering;

  • Long term unemployed
  • Over 50yrs
  • Disabilities
  • Overcoming drug or alcohol dependency
  • Caring responsibilities
  • Ex-offenders
  • Economically inactive
  • BME background
  • Physical or mental health problems
  • Residents in isolated communities

If you are legally able to reside and work in the UK and are resident in Lancashire why not contact them to start your journey?
