Telephone Befriending

Are you concerned about a member of your family or neighbour being lonely or vulnerable at the moment? Loneliness and self-isolation can be hard at the best of times and even more so now. You don’t have to suffer in silence, we are here to help. Would you like someone to check-in with them by telephone and have a friendly, regular chat? You can refer them through for a Telephone Befriender by clicking here to access the referral form or by calling 01772416417 we are open 8am-4pm Monday-Friday and 10am-2pm on Saturday. Please get the person’s permission before submitting their details.  

Our Lancashire and Community Hubs

If a vulnerable person needs practical help Our Lancashire staff are now working in community hubs across the County alongside Lancashire County Council to help coordinate support for those in need (details below). If you are a group or organisation that is helping to support vulnerable people at this difficult time please join Our Lancashire or contact your local Community Engagement Officer and let them know what support you can offer.
